Bergischer Weg Trail

"The Bergisches Weg, approximately 259 kilometers long, leads in 14 stages from the Ruhr region through the Bergisches Land and Siebengebirge nature parks to Königswinter on the Rhine. For several years, the trail has been recognized by the German Hiking Association as a "Quality Trail for Hikable Germany." Along its entire length, the trail boasts not only beautiful landscapes and magnificent views, but also excellent signage in both directions.A variety of experiences await you along the route. The trail has much to offer in terms of both landscape and cultural history: idyllic landscapes and historic villages, as well as museums of local and industrial history, palaces, castles, monuments, and churches bring the region's culture to life.
