The Gökersacker refers to the former settlement of Bitthausen, which was located here in the Long Valley. Nothing remains of the place except the field names. The festival grounds are said to have been located right next to the Gökersacker, where even fairs were held. Gökerschlagen was also practiced here - a form of slapstick. The Göker was a harvest spirit that spoiled the harvest and therefore had to be driven away.
