The Eriz is a little-known valley, fairly untouched and sparsely populated. You feel like you are in seclusion behind the Sigriswiler Rothorn. And yes, a bear was spotted here about 3 years ago, a loner who hadn't found what he wanted here. He then moved away again without harming anyone.
