About Thunderbird55

A great tour with Küre. Thanks for the company. A lot of single trails!

Wonderful bike tour, technically very easy, but not suitable for city bikes. Partly steep climbs and a few slippery stones under the leaves in the forest, easy to do with eBike.
Today, Sunday, there were many hikers and bikers, practically no cars !!! 💝🚵‍♂️

A really nice tour with many fantastic panoramic viewpoints. 💝First we go cycling on asphalt, away from traffic, up to Emmetten. The bike part begins shortly after Emmetten. You reach the highest point of the tour via flowing forest paths. The single trail (S0 to S2) down to Seelisberg is mostly flowy. At the beginning the trail is rocky, later flowing, then steep with a few switchbacks. Driving up, that wouldn't be my thing here. After the fantastic pictures in and around Seelisberg, you can look forward to a “fast descent” over asphalt to Beckenried for dessert.

A wonderful section on Lake Hallwil. On weekdays out of season you can really enjoy the hike here. The food in the Schifflände is fantastic and cheap for the quality.

Very nice tour based on Arno's idea. Thanks Arno.Except for two short sections, everything is paved but almost car-free!
There is a lot of traffic at the Klus passage. There is a very wide bike path along the industry.
I drove around Oensingen through the forest. Here it goes briefly uphill on a bumpy forest path (gravel bike mobile, CityBike push).Afterwards you are alone in the wide hall. The gradients are moderate, the streets wide. Simply enjoy. At the Bättlerchuchi viewpoint you have a fantastic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On the descent after the rear Schmiedmatte you have to make sure that you don't miss the junction towards Welschenrohr. The first few meters after Welschenrohr are a little steeper than all other inclines with a 10-15% gradient.

The whole tour is beautiful and practically car-free!
