Very beautiful valley between Mühlen and Eutingen. The natural history hiking trail provides information about the valley at various stations. The Stauffenberg ruins, for example, are worth seeing

Eutinger Tal is a landscape protection area (protection area number 2.37.035) in the Freudenstadt district. The protected area was created by ordinance of the Horb District Office dated November 23, 1970. It is a scenic side valley of the Neckar Valley. The Eutinger Valley belongs to the natural area 122-Obere Gäue within the main natural area unit 12-Neckar- and Tauber-Gäu Platten. The main protective purpose is to preserve the wooded slopes and the valley floor of the scenic Eutinger Valley. The valley was formed by the Eutinger Talbach, which dug into the surrounding Upper Muschelkalk. In the middle of the valley lies the natural monument Karst Springs of the Talbach and the Lochbrunnen in the Eutinger Valley. At the entrance to the Eutinger Valley there is a semi-dry grassland with rich meadow flower vegetation and a remarkable population of insects and butterflies on a south-facing slope. During a census in 2001, 30 different butterflies were identified, 14 species of which are on the Red List in Baden-Württemberg. Abandoned beer cellars provide winter quarters for the endangered pug bat and the specially protected fire salamander.
