The Malaga Cathedral Gardens are a green oasis located right next to the impressive cathedral. These small but charming gardens offer a tranquil atmosphere with lush vegetation, including orange trees, palm trees and various Mediterranean plants. The gardens were designed by the architect Fernando Guerrero-Strachan Rosado and were created in 1941 after buildings next to the cathedral were demolished. This used to be the site of the old fountain that supplied water to the cathedral and its premises. A pond with forms the center of the area, the channels converge to two small marble fountains. Worth seeing.
