The foundation stone was laid on August 16, 1735, a gold and silver coin, a Bible, Luther's catechism and the Waldeck church order from 1730 were walled in.
The Arolser carpenter Johann Wilhelm Kaulbach was responsible for the interior of the church, such as the wooden altar table and the pulpit.
The organ brochure is from the court sculptor Marcus Christoph Krau from 1782.
