Enjoy cycling along the Rupel. Generally quite quiet. Also enjoy the many bird species that you can spot

Ideally located birdwatching hut at the Veer van Schelle. If you have to wait for the ferry, you can come here to the birdwatching hut to enjoy what is happening in your field of vision.
Bird lovers will have a great time here, because this water-rich area is a paradise for birds. Herons, avocets, terns and all kinds of ducks feel at home on the Noordelijk Eiland. Migratory birds use the island as a resting place during their migration.
Each season has its own main characters.
Enjoy your moment with nature.
