Rome’s most famous keyhole is located on the Aventine Hill, in the door of Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta. Looking through it, you will see the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, perfectly aligned, framed by green hedges. The view is carefully designed and can be admired from the street for free.

The Aventine Hill (Aventino, 46 mt) is one of the Seven Hills on which ancient Rome was built. The hill is now an elegant residential part of Rome with a wealth of architectural interest, including palaces, churches, and gardens, for example, the basilica of Santa Sabina and the Rome Rose Garden.
