Kelchterhoef is often associated with water. Rightly so, because recreation park 'De Plas', with its 20 ha swimming pond and sandy beach with demarcated swimming area, has everything for a day trip full of swimming fun with the whole family.
Please note: swimming is only allowed within the designated swimming area and during opening hours. The swimming area is open from 1 July to 31 August from 10 am to 6 pm (only when the green flag is raised). Unfortunately, there is a big chance that swimming is not allowed in De Plas on some days.
