14.10.2018 - The Andreas Maurer Bridge is a road bridge near Hainburg and is the only bridge over the Danube between Vienna and Bratislava. The A-shaped steel pylon that carries the stay cables is 76.33 meters high above a river pillar and was built in January 1973 officially opened. It is checked and serviced at regular intervals, including on June 24th, 2018. Inspections at lofty heights with a huge lifting basket.
