Hiking

Once, patrol paths were part of the inner-German border installations on the side of the former GDR. Today, they have mostly been converted into publicly accessible hiking trails. This patrol path, which leads past the Schifflersgrund border museum, is also such a hiking trail. It takes you past a historical backdrop made up of perforated concrete slabs and a section of the border fence.
