From 1832 to 1872, the horse-drawn railway ran over the Edelbach Bridge between Budweis and Linz. Today it is accessible to hikers on the horse-drawn railway hiking trail.

Mountain biking

The stone bridge is still standing, but can only be used by hikers. The former railway embankment is missing on one side. With wheels you have to wildly through the creek (which is normally shallow enough).
The path then out of the forest is firmly rooted, but still passable. Then comes a visual reward: a small pond lovingly cared for (private property!)
