Opened in 1819, this is one of London's oldest covered shopping arcades. Besides the luxury shops you can find here you could try one of the things that are forbidden here to get acquainted with one of the guards: The arcade maintains Regency decorum by banning singing, humming, hurrying, and "behaving boisterously" and is therefore patrolled by beadles in traditional uniforms including top hats and frockcoats.
