From here you can sail with the Kieler Fördeschiffahrt over the fjord, either to the Kiel city center (Bahnhofskai), but also to Laboe or directly to the other fjord shore (Friedrichsort, Schilksee, Strande) get there his tour z.b. continue through the Danish Wohld or shorten the trip once around the Kiel Fjord (about 40 km) 😉
The trip with the fjord steamers is then in my opinion, not cheap, so a just 20 minute drive from Laboe to Strande € 6.20 (1 adult + bike) ... but is certainly an experience.

Quiet villa suburb with marina on the eastern shore of the Kiel inner fjord at the foot of the Mönkeberg.
With the ferries you can drive to Kiel city center or just make a "little cruise" across the Kiel fjord. Bicycles are taken, but cost extra.
Prices depend on the chosen destination. But are cheap.
