Hiking
The name "Zur Rennbahn" has its origins in the "Stover Race", a trotting and gallop race that takes place outside the dike once a year on the last weekend in July. The organizer is the Stover Rennverein von 1874 e.V., which has organized the race every year since it was founded with great success.
There used to be an inn and ferry house here on the site of today's "Zur Rennbahn" hotel.
