After the end of the war, the massive structures of the factory, which were primarily intended to protect the surrounding area from explosions, were decontaminated, blown up and partially removed. What was left fell into disrepair and was slowly recaptured by nature. Mosses settled on the stones, smaller remains of the powder factory were so overgrown by the vegetation in the forest that it is sometimes difficult to discover them. Here and there graffiti artists immortalized themselves on the concrete.
