As alternative way back to Levada Nova a few meters lower. Very mossy and not as well maintained as the L. Nova, but still beautiful to walk.

Scenically more beautiful than the Levada Nova, which was placed with its head through the wall in the escarpment. There are also sometimes smaller waterfalls and not flat paths, but the spectacular run by the abyss is over.

The Levada do Moinho can be easily combined with the Levada Nova to form a circular route (way there on the Levada Nova, way back on the Levada do Moinho).
