The long-term goal is to connect this young forest with the old Ertbrugge forest into one larger contiguous forest.
This lower-lying young forest has the perfect combination of "wet & dry". In this forest and its soil, mainly black alder and ash grow. In the drier places you will see pedunculate oak, hornbeam, beech and wild cherry.
It is a forest for everyone.
