Origin of the church was a Romanesque building. Parts are still preserved in the northwest side of the church. A pointed-arched sacrament niche in the choir and pointed-arched windows in the choir are signs of a Gothic transformation.
In 1970 a renovation took place. The dilapidated pulpit altar was removed and the choir room was uncovered. The color version was found on the windows from the past.
The organ was created in 1857 by Johann Friedrich Schulze from Paulinzella.
2002-2009 was a renewed renovation of the church and the inventory (Wikipedia).

Cycling
The Protestant village church of Our Lady is located in the Linderbach district of Erfurt. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, and the church has been Protestant since 1529. The interior features beautiful works of art, but can only be visited by appointment with the parish office.
