Hilltop castle from the 13th century with currently 2 owners, on the one hand the Huemer family from Weissenbach/Tr., on the other hand part belongs to the Archdiocese of Vienna. The castle also used to house the local school. However, there was only one classroom, which is why the "forest school" was built in the adjacent forest and operated on warm summer days.

Built in the 13th century, it is mentioned in a document in 1246, when Ulrich von Neuhaus is mentioned as a lord of the castle.
Half of the castle is now privately owned by the Huemer family, the other half belongs to the Archdiocese of Vienna. The private share was renovated in the 1980s with great effort from a ruin. The other half is the vicarage and is now also renovated since 2003/04.
