Wiener 5-Gipfel-Tour

Alland, a rural and wooded village over 1000 years old, looks back on an eventful history. As early as the 12th century, the area was owned by the Babenberg dynasty. Later, under the Habsburgs, it became a princely hunting ground. The name Alland derives from the terms "Adelathe" or "adel achte," meaning

A solitary, beautiful, and mostly shady hike leads to the Großer Rosenkogel in the Gutenstein Alps. I've already climbed most of the other peaks in the area; this one was still missing. At 842 meters, the mountain isn't high, but the ascent from the Piesting Valley involves an elevation gain of almost

A storm is raging over Mallorca, with winds reaching 80-100 km/h along the coast and up to 150 km/h in the mountains. It was a beautiful, cloudless day, but a hike would have been far too dangerous. So we contented ourselves with an afternoon stroll around the bay of Port d'Andratx and hope for better conditions tomorrow.

A beautiful circular hike with minimal elevation gain. The trail begins on a former military road through a light pine forest, later following the cliffs from west to east. Near the Faro de Cala Figueira lighthouse, the route turns north again, skirting two rocky coves before returning to the starting

Deià was once a meeting place for hippies from all over the world. Today, you need the right credit card to stay. Nevertheless, the mountain village has retained its rugged charm. We hiked down to the coast to the small harbor of Cala Deià, a pleasant walk in beautiful surroundings.

The starting point of the hike, Valldemossa, is a popular destination, primarily due to its Carthusian monastery. Frederic Chopin and George Sand spent several months of their lives here. The trail then follows the Cami des s'Escolta. Along this stretch of coast, numerous viewpoints can be found, all

Along the beautiful blue Danube – between Regelsbrunn and Haslau. A leisurely Saturday afternoon stroll in lovely weather and a strong southeast wind.
