After 65 years, the island of Mors regained one of its largest lakes in 1991. The "Legind Lake" was renatured in 1991 as a 27 ha large freshwater lake. The lake and the adjacent meadows are an important habitat for wild plants and animals on Mors, and the lake has become very important for bird life.
