At this location, on top of the mound, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the centuries-old Uitkerkse Polders lower down. The Uitkerkse Polder is the ideal habitat for numerous bird species all year round. Meadow birds find a suitable breeding ground there and thousands of frozen geese from the far North come to spend the winter there.
