The Uhlandshöhe is an elevation belonging to the historical market area of Stuttgart on the eastern edge of the city center. The name of the hill was originally Ameisenberg, but in 1862 the name of a park was transferred to the entire area. The top has a height of about 355 m above sea level. NN. The Wagenburgtunnel, a road tunnel, runs under the hill. The summit of the Uhland height is relatively long. In addition to private grounds (including a nursery), there is also a park owned by the Stuttgart Beautification Association. This park was created between 1861 and 1896. Because of the vegetation, the view from the Uhland height to the surrounding city is somewhat restricted. To enjoy views in all directions, you have to visit several viewpoints. There is also a public observatory on the summit and a mini golf course.
