Tips
The war mountain tower is a 1895 by the building officer Carl Weigle for the 1861 founded Beautification Association Stuttgart e. V. built observation tower on the 353 meter high war mountain.
In 1985, the tower was restored with the help of donations from Stuttgart citizens, the city of Stuttgart and the State Monuments Office of Baden-Württemberg.
The terrace with the viewing tower is about 500 m north of the Katharinenhospital on Eduard-Pfeiffer-Straße. The tower itself is only open on special occasions.
The Kriegsberg Tower was named "Monument of the Month January 2019" by the Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation.
