Sandstone rocks, the most important of which is called Uhlířská skála (Kohlerstein, 471 m) after the mines that used to exist in its area. In 1894, a viewing platform was set up on its summit and a wooden summer inn was built nearby, which was called "Köhlerstein" until 1905. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the poet Friedrich Schiller, the viewing rock was renovated by the Zwickauer Bergverein and renamed the Friedrich-Schiller-Warte. On July 9, 1905, a memorial plaque with the years 1805 - 1905 and the name "Friedrich-Schiller-Warte" was ceremoniously placed here, which Otto Vonach from Cvikov had attached to the rock. Since then, the inn next to him has also had the same name. Very nice view of the Lusatian and Zittau Mountains.

      SCHILLER WARTE

The Zelený vrch (Green Mountain) was and remains a popular tourist destination. Numerous hiking trails were created on its slopes. There were also two restaurants here.

In 1894, a viewing platform was built on the summit and a wooden summer inn in its immediate vicinity, which was called "Gaststätte Am Köhlerberg" until 1905. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the poet Friedrich Schiller, the viewing rock was redesigned by the Cvikov (Zwickau in Bohemia) mountain club and renamed the Schiller viewing point. On July 9, 1905, a memorial plaque with the inscription of the years 1805-1905 and the name "Friedrich Schiller Warte" was ceremoniously unveiled here.

Over time, the two restaurants disappeared, but the rocky viewing platform has remained to this day. Although it is partially overgrown with trees, it still offers a beautiful view of the surroundings of Marenice and the peaks Luz, Hvozd and Jezevci vrch. The climbing rocks Trávnická jehla and Kohoutek are located around the viewpoint.
