Runswick Bay is one of the prettiest coastal destinations in Yorkshire and a must-see if you enjoy traditional British seaside. With a sweeping, sheltered bay, sandy beach, clean waters, rock pools and fossils to be found, it's a great place to relax, swim and play. There are fantastic cliff-top walks in this area, too.

One of the Yorkshire Coast’s prettiest destinations. It's bay is sandy and sheltered and once provided anchorage for brightly coloured fishing boats. Great for rock pooling, fossil hunting and coastal walks, where you can admire the breathtakingly stunning sea views.

If you are doing the Cleveland Way cliff top path from Runswick Bay to Staithes, park in the top car park to avoid the steep climb.
