The Kursächsische Postsäulen are historic stone pillars built in the 1700s throughout Saxony to measure distances and mark postal routes. They were built by Saxony's ruler August the Strong in the style of the ancient Romans.

This is a Viertelmeilenstein (quater-mile marker) number 13 along the Alte Dresden-Teplitzer Poststraße.
