Hiking

The Tiendeweg is one of the oldest streets in Gouda and was originally an extension of the old connecting road between Gouda and Utrecht, also called the Haastrechtse Tiendweg. The name Thiendeweg was already mentioned in Gouda in 1363. The street ran from the Tiendewegspoort to the St. Janskerk, later a connection was created at right angles to this street with the Markt.
