The Sint-Joostkapel has been the Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1682 on the corner of the Lage Gouwe and the Groenendaal in Gouda. Luther has become one of the most famous Reformers alongside Calvin. Luther clearly went a different way and, as a former monk, took part of the liturgical traditions from the Roman Catholic Church with him. In addition to the proclamation from the Bible and the celebration of the Lord's Supper, he attached great importance to music in worship.
