Every 4 years, an outdoor exhibition for art in public space is held in Park Sonsbeek.
This year is the 13th edition.
The title this year is: I don't need a garden, I share a park (Loesje).
Sculptures, installations, video presentations, etc. by 18 artists can be seen.
The whole thing makes for an exciting walk!

Along a wetland area with no less than 50 spoonbills foraging. Saw various storks along the way.
Crossed the IJssel twice: with the ferry near Lathum and over the IJssel bridge.

What a great hike! Such a beautiful heathland area (heard cranes, unfortunately didn't see them) with a very functional boardwalk and a very special lake. An encounter with a herd of water buffalo was the most special thing about this bike tour. But also later the fens with cotton grass and sundew were beautiful!

Nice route with some obstacles halfway. There were several closed gates along the way, making it a bit difficult to find a good path. The stretch along the Zeeweg was boring, but the beach made up for it!
