If there is snow, you can race down over 1,200 meters on this slope and descend 170 meters to the parking lot on Siegfriedstrasse.

The Nordbahn descent was designed as a synthetic ski slope many years ago. The so-called Nordbahn was intended to enable year-round alpine skiing fun, but unfortunately it quickly turned out to be a flop and the plastic mats were never removed. Environmental initiatives like the Schmitten Environmental Sponsors regularly collect the big ones
