Road cycling
Osaka Pass is at the top of a super steep climb west of Nagaokakyo, and slightly north of the even steeper Yoshimine-dera climb. Winding old road through deep forest and Cryptomeria plantations. Some views toward Kyoto, though would recommend to keep eyes on the road.
