Over the course of the 15th century, the Lords of Gemmingen were able to acquire shares in rams. Accordingly, they built this little castle with the characteristic round stair tower in the 16th century in 1574.
The building served as an inn from the 1860s before it was renovated and converted for residential purposes in the early 1990s.
