The Wendelinus Chapel was built in 1904 on the edge of the Capuchin Monastery, opposite Marienplatz. It replaced the dilapidated old chapel across the street. A Dieburg butcher was forced to donate the money for the chapel's construction as a form of atonement for a misdemeanor. 🚴♂️
