In today's district of Grabauer Hoherdamm, which is about 1.5 km from the manor on Grabauer See, there has been a mill since the 15th century. A grain mill was built around 1486, which has been converted into a copper and brass factory with coin production since about 1593. A small settlement has formed around the mill since the 16th century, which forms the core of today's district.

Only privately operated, brass and copper processing was carried out from 1795 to 1832 for the account of the Danish Ministry of Finance. In 1832 the mill passed into the possession of the Grabau estate, the owner of which had another grinding course installed so that the mill could also be used as a grain mill again. Metal processing was discontinued in the 1850s, the grain mill operated until 1906. The current mill building was built in 1876 and converted into an apartment building after the mill was closed.

The mill operation existed since the 15th century.

In 1486 a grain mill was built, converted from about 1593 to copper and brass mill (including coin production).

From about 1832 again as a grain mill.

The metal mill worked until about 1850 set, the grain mill to 1906.

The present building was built in 1876 and is today a multi-family house.

From the mill you can enjoy a great view over the lake. Between the mill and the neighboring house is a place where you can get relatively close to the lake.
