The town church, which stands right next to the Schochenturm, is a Gothic church building in Besigheim, the oldest part of which, the choir, dates back to 1369 and goes back to an older previous building. The church, dedicated to Saint Cyriacus, was rebuilt several times over time. The most important art monument in the church is the carved high altar.
