Despite its name, this trail runs along Redwood Creek; it joins the Redwood Creek Trail to the south. This walk is easy and popular, so if you want to avoid the crowds, you'll need to come early.

The main trail from the visitors center into Muir Woods National Monument along the creek is flat, smooth boardwalk and ADA suitable, leading through the most impressive tall redwood groves and historic sites.
