The Wellington Monument, standing tall in Phoenix Park, Dublin, is an impressive tribute to the Duke of Wellington. Erected in 1861, it offers a commanding presence in the park's landscape and provides visitors with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area from its summit.

Impressive obelisk at the entrance to Phoenix Park. Worthwhile goal for a round, especially because you can finally run trouble-free in the park! Dublin is not necessarily a run-friendly area, a traffic light and obstacle-free route through the city is unfortunately missing. There are quite some nice sections along the Liffey, but here too you are regularly at busy intersections.
