    The Zernez slope is more accessible than the Val Mustair slope. The asphalt is in perfect condition. Traffic is usually heavy, and cyclists must be very careful.
    It is a climb with four distinct sections:
    - Section 1 from Zernez to Ova Spin: a tough 6-km section that runs between tunnels and along a winding road.
    - Section 2 from Ova Spin to Punt la Drossa, where there is a 4-km descent to the entrance of the tunnel that connects to the Livigno area.
    - Section 3 from Punt la Drossa to 2 km before the summit, which runs through an open and very manageable area with continuous false flats.
    - Section 4, which are the last 2 km of the pass, are the toughest, reaching peaks of 10%.
