The small village of Tenesar is located on the rugged west coast of Lanzarote.
About 50 years ago, the first islanders, mainly from Tinajo, built their holiday homes and retreats on and in the cliffs in the middle of no man's land. Tenesar is deserted most of the year and looks like a morbid film set.
