Shortly after Schlächtenhaus, a beautiful little road turns right up to Endenburg. The path leads relatively steeply up through the forest, making it somewhat pleasant in summer. Unfortunately the surface is no longer the best, which isn't a problem going uphill, but you also have to be careful going downhill because of the gradient.
