The neo-baroque hall church, which is structured with pilasters and can be interpreted as a cross church thanks to the risalites on the north and south facades, was built in 1894/97 based on a design by Hermann Steindorffin. After its destruction in World War II, it was rebuilt in 1953. To the east of the nave, which is covered with a cross roof, is the retracted, semicircular closed choir. The five-story church tower, covered with a slate-roofed Welschen hood, stands in the northeast corner. Its top, octagonal floor houses the tower clock, and the one below houses the belfry.

Cycling

The former baptismal church of the original parish of Gollhofen was first mentioned in 1291 as the rectory of a Romantic church. A successor building was constructed in 1731 by the court architect Karl Friedrich von Zocha. However, this building burned down in 1890, so a new one was built in 1894.
