The center of Dunfanaghy is a small square with a market house dating from 1847 and a wharf dating from 1831, formerly used for the export of grain.
Within the village you will find all the amenities you can imagine for a wonderful holiday, and yet the village has managed to retain its architectural, cultural and scenic beauty.

Hiking
Dunfanaghy is the centre of social and cultural life in the surrounding area. There is a small harbour, a pretty church with interesting services, a few shops (on my breakfast table is a cup of "I wish to be in Dunfanaghy" in memory of the wonderful time I had in Donegal) and a few restaurants with live music at the weekend. The Indian restaurant is lovely and it is also a rare opportunity for crepe lovers.
