    Muckish Mountain is the northernmost peak in the Derryveagh Mountains. At its summit is a cairn visible from afar. The entire summit region consists of a large scree area, the lowest point of which is around 630 m and the highest point is 666 m, with a beautiful all-round view.



    I started on the "grotto" side, very peaty subsoil, so you should definitely wear waterproof shoes, possibly gaiters. I went down on the other side of the mountain, very rocky and steep descent, with strong wind it was very difficult and sometimes dangerous to climb down.
