The Crawford Gallery, housed in an old trading post along the River Lee, displays a magnificent collection of Irish masters between the 18th and 20th centuries. The walk through the showrooms felt like a tour of Irish history. But modernity also has its say with changing exhibitions of contemporary art.

Free art gallery in the heart of Cork City. Cafe inside, as well as both a Costa and a Starbucks across the lane for those in need of something more familiar.
Hours:
Monday - Saturday 1000 - 1700
Thursdays until 2000
Sundays & Bank holiday Mondays 1100 - 1600
CLOSED Dec. 25 & Jan 1
