Stunning views of the Fjordlands, with some morning clouds still sitting low in The Valley below, worth the early sunrise start for this and enjoying the trail alone. Can be pretty chilly with the wind though, so I was glad I packed my buff, and had to Macgyver a pair of gloves from a spare pair of thick wooden socks to keep my hands toasty. Worked a treat!
