The estate Saathain can be found in the small village Saathain near (west) of Elsterwerda. The estate is being kept in good condition by a promotion association set up in 1996 on the initiative of the then mayor. All buildings have been lovingly restored. The overall picture looks very nice. Distributed over the year events are put on the legs, which are also very well received. Adjacent to the Saathain estate are also beautifully maintained parks and of course the well-known Saathainer Rose Garden. Zig rose varieties that want to be considered. Try it!

Historically and conceptually, Gut Saathain stands for the Saathain manor, which existed until 1945 and is now only remembered by the castle ruins, but above all by the park, the former farm buildings converted into apartments and the historic half-timbered church. In the present, the viewer increasingly associates Gut Saathain regionally and nationally with culture, concerts and events on the estate, organized by the Gut Saathain support association.
