    Hiking

Coming from Leithen and following the Schnalz Panoramaweg in the direction of the north, this initially leads without great incline along the wooded ridge of the Schnalz. At the turnoff to the Schnalz summit innumerable steep steps lead down to the Ammerschlucht, respectively upwards until the flat plateau of the Schnalz is reached. The detour to the Schnalz summit (901 m) is worthwhile. From there you have a direct view of the Alpine chain in the south to the Karwendel.

    Hiking

The Schnalz summit offers a breathtaking panorama of the southern part of the Pfaffenwinkel with its hilly pre-alpine landscape created by the last ice age and of course of the Alps. The ascent to 901m is definitely worth it! There are benches and a relaxation lounger that invite you to have a snack or just to linger; you can neither get enough of this view nor the changing play of clouds.
